11.00am Broadstairs Dickens Festival Historical Walk led by Peter Shaw. Meet outside 'Suzannes' - Donations acceptable
   
2.30pm The event will be opened in the time honoured tradition by a parade of costumed characters
   
3.00pm Opening Ceremony at Victoria Gardens, followed by entertainment
7.30pm 'The Young David Copperfield' performed by the Sarah Thorne Junior. Drama Group at the Memorial Theatre, Hilderstone. Tickets: £7.00 adults, £5.00 children
